Banyan VINES
Print server not responding!
The print server is not responding to the network call.
The address may have changed. Select the Refresh
button or exit OkiNet for VINES and try again.
Set configuration failed, refresh window and try
again
The print server configuration could not be changed.
Configuration information may have been changed by
another user since last communicating with the print
server. Select the Refresh button and try again.
Print server cannot secure a network address
The print server cannot obtain a network address. Your
server or router may be down.
VINES API Error:xxx
This is a Banyan VINES API error where xxx is the
error number. You can run rnserr.exe from a DOS shell
to get further error information. If you need further
explanation, call Okidata Customer Support at 1-800-
OKIDATA (1-800-645-3282).
Unable to locate print server
If you are unable to locate your print server when you
run the OkiNet for VINES utility, select the Refresh
button. This will send another broadcast across the
network to search for the OkiLAN 6100e+.
If you are still unable to locate your printer server, you
may need to increase the hop count (the number of
servers or routers traversed). The range for the hop
count is 0-15; default is 5. To change the hop count,
select the options dialog from the startup menu of the
OkiNet for VINES main window.
