Visual Call Waiting (Call Waiting ID)
Service
If you hear a call-waiting tone during a
conversation with the handset, the handset
display will show the second callers information.
You can answer the second call, keeping the first
call on hold.
Note:
L Please contact your telephone company for
details and availability of this service in your
area.
3.10 Viewing and calling
back using caller
information (Handset only)
Up to 50 different callers telephone numbers are
stored from the most recent call to the oldest call.
When the 51st call is received, the oldest caller
information is cleared.
You can easily view caller information and call
back.
Important:
L Calling back will not be possible in the
following cases:
The telephone number includes data
other than numbers (i.e. * or #).
The caller information does not
include a telephone number.
L To prevent battery consumption, be sure
to press {ih} if a busy tone sounds
when/after using the handset.
1 Lift the handset and press {v}.
2 Press {v} to search from the most recent
caller information.
L (1) means this call has already been
viewed or answered.
3 Press {C} to call back the displayed party.
L The unit will start dialling automatically.
Note:
L Telstra and Optus do not currently send caller
name information.
Display while viewing
When no calls have been received, the display
will show NO ITEM.
To stop viewing
Press {ih} after step 2.
3.10.1 Editing a callers
telephone number before calling
back
Important:
L To prevent battery consumption, be sure
to press {ih} if a busy tone sounds
when/after using the handset.
1 Press {e} or {v} repeatedly to display the
desired entry.
2 Press {>}.
3 Press {e} or {v} repeatedly to display
EDIT CALL NO.
4 Press {>}.
5 Press {<} or {>} to move to the position to
the right of where you want to edit the
number.
6 Edit the telephone number.
L To clear a digit, press {C}.
7 Press {C}.
Note:
L The edited telephone number will not be
saved in the caller information.
