8.3 Monitoring the Server From the LOM

This section describes the commands that enable you to check the status of the
components monitored by the LOM device. It also describes how to view the events
stored in the LOM device’s event log.
8.3.1 Checking How Long the Server Has Been
Running
To find out how much time has elapsed since the last boot, type:

8.3.2 Checking the Current Status of All Components
To see the current status of all the components monitored by the LOM device, type:
FIGURE 8-2 shows some sample output from the environment command. In this
example, all the components are running normally and none are faulty.
