3. Clean the sensor and mirror:
a. Apply a small amount of lens and mirror cleaner to a
cleaning pad.
b. Wipe the sensor and mirror gently with the cleaning pad.
4. Close the processor doors.
Clearing or cleaning the finisher sensors
Clearing the finisher sensors should be performed only when
directed by a Customer Support Center Representative.
NOTE: The finisher sensors are located under the processor top
cover, under the finisher top cover, and behind the finisher and
bindexer doors.
Use the following procedure to clear any obstructions from the
finisher sensors.
Perform the following when it is necessary to clean the finisher
sensors.
1. Fold a sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch (216 x 279 mm) paper, as shown
in figure 6-9.
