Link LED
The state of the Link LED indicates the ATMLink NIC operating
status. Table 6-3 explains the possible LED states.
The LED of a standby NIC does not light unless the NIC changes
to active status.
Table 6-3 LED Activity
LED State Explanation
Slow blinking ■ The operating system is loading the drivers and
activating the NIC.
■ A diagnostic test is being run.
Lit A good link is established with the ATM switch.
Off ■ A link with the ATM switch has not been established.
■ The NIC is a standby NIC.
■ The driver is not loaded.
