Configuring Maximum Age

Type a in the Spanning Tree Configuration
Menu.

Enter a value for the Maximum Age timer at
the prompt.
▲ Important! This value must be between
6 and 40 seconds. See Table 7-1 for a
description of the Maximum Age timer.

Press Return.
The Maximum Age is changed.
Configuring Hello Time

Type h in the Spanning Tree Parameters
Menu.

Enter a value for the Hello Time at the
prompt.
