The FAX-L250 cannot dial? The telephone line may not be
connected properly.
Make sure the telephone line is
securely connected to the
FAX-L250. See page 2-14.
The FAX-L250 may not be set
for the type of telephone line
you have (pulse/tone).
Make sure the FAX-L250 is set
for the type of phone you have.
See Chapter 3. (If you are not sure
what type of line you have,
contact your local telephone
company.)
The phone disconnects while
you are talking on the line?
The FAX-L250 may not be
plugged in properly.
Make sure the FAX-L250 is
correctly plugged into a wall
outlet.
Copying Problems
Problem Cause Solution
The FAX-L250 will not make a
copy?
The document may not be
placed in the document feeder
correctly.
Make sure the document you
are copying is set in the
Automatic Document Feeder
(ADF) properly, and the LCD
display shows DOCUMENT
READY.
The handset may be off its
hook.
Make sure the handset is on its
cradle.
MEMORY FULL appears in
the LCD display when you are
making multiple copies?
The FAX-L250’s memory is
full.
Print out any received faxes stored
in memory, then start making
copies again. See page 6-17.
