1. Remove the formatter from the product.
2. On the formatter, bend the plastic tab (callout 1) on the hard disk assembly toward the disk to
disengage a tab underneath the formatter PCA.

3. Slide the hard disk (callout 1) in the direction indicated to remove it from the formatter PCA.
