Installing a hard disk drive
1. Disconnect power from the workstation (see
Predisassembly procedures on page 73).
2. Remove the side access panel (see
Removing the side access panel on page 75).
3. Select the proper drive bay (SATA or SAS) in which to install the drive. Use the hard disk drive
installation order shown in the following figure.

4. If there is a drive carrier in the drive slot, press the hard drive carrier release latch at the green
touch point and rotate the handle outward
. Pull the drive carrier out of the hard drive bay as
shown in the following figure
