Configuration Utility Menu Options
Menu Option Description
Scanners, Symbologies Configure scanner settings and bar code
symbologies.
Communications Set up network settings including the 802.11b/g
radio and the Bluetooth radio.
CK30 Settings Configure settings specific to the CK30 such as
the date, time, beeper volume, and backlight
timeout.
Summary View a summary of all settings for the Scanners,
Symbologies menu, the Communications menu,
and the CK30 Settings menu.
Restore Defaults Restore factory default settings on your CK30.
Save to Flash Preserves configuration settings when you cold
boot the CK30.
Use this table to understand how to navigate and enter
information in the Configuration Utility.
Navigating in the Configuration Utility
To Do This: Press:
Select an option The number associated with the option
a or b to select an option and then
press Enter
Tab to select an option and then press
Enter
Save a setting
Enter key
Exit or return to a previous
screen
Esc until you exit the application or return
to a previous screen
Delete a character
C key, Backspace () key
Delete all characters in a field
when highlighted
Backspace () key
Return to the Configuration
Utility main menu (Home)
On the 42-key and 52-key keypads:
