Log Messages: The number of messages received by the log process. This
includes messages that are dropped or ignored
show logging buffered
This command displays buffered logging (system startup and system operation logs).
Format
show logging buffered
Mode Privileged EXEC
Admin Status The current state of the in-memory log.
Severity Level Filter The minimum severity to log to the in memory log. Messages
with an equal or lower numerical severity are logged.
Component Filter The component(s) from which received messages are to be
logged to the in memory log. Either a single component id or "all
components" may be specified.
Wrapping Behavior
The behavior of the In Memory log when faced with a log full situation.
Log Count The count of valid entries in the buffered log.
Log Messages: The number of messages forwarded by the syslog function to a
syslog host. Messages forwarded to multiple hosts are counted
once for each host.
show logging hosts
This command displays all configured logging hosts.

show logging hosts
Mode Privileged EXEC
Host Index (used for deleting)
Host IP Address IP Address of the configured server.
Address Type Address Type of Server.
Severity Level The minimum severity to log to the specified address.
Port Server Port Number.
This is the port on the local host from which syslog
messages are sent.
