Sleep Mode (^s)
The Sleep Mode command starts sleep mode, adjusts the sleep mode time, or
disables sleep mode (keeps the printer from entering sleep mode).
If sleep mode is disabled, the test label will show F immediately before the sleep
mode time. See the Operator's Handbook for more information about sleep mode.
NOTE:To exit sleep mode, transition from low to high on either the RXD or CTS
line. The printer cannot wake up if either line is held high continuously.
The printer resumes normal mode within 100 milliseconds of the
transition. You many lose data you send before the printer returns to
normal mode.

function G Start sleep mode
A Adjust sleep mode time
D Disable sleep mode
time
The time (in seconds) the printer must be inactive before it enters
sleep mode (default is 120 seconds). If function is A, enter a value
from 10 to 5909. Otherwise, leave this field blank, but remember to
include the split vertical bar.
Example

This command tells the printer to wait until it has been inactive for 20 seconds
before entering sleep mode.
