AT&G Guard Tone
The &G command controls the generation of guard tones.
A guard tone is a predetermined frequency generated by the modem to supervise the
communications path.
The &G command only affects V.22 and V.22bis connections.

AT&G0 ■ Do not generate guard tones
AT&G1 Generate guard tones of 550Hz
AT&G2 Generate guard tones of 1800Hz
