fieldtoensurevalidcodes.ThevideodisplaymodulegeneratestheseprotectionbitsaspartoftheSAV
andEAVcodes.Table3-3showspossiblecombinationsofvalidSAVandEAVcodeswiththeirprotection
bits.ThevideodisplaypipelinegeneratesSAVandEAVsynccodesandinsertsthemintotheoutput
videostreamaccordingtotheBT.656specification.

blankinginterval,anSAVcode,followedbythelineofactivevideo.TheEAVcodeindicatestheendof
