Called party identification
By default, the AastraLink Pro 160 sets the calling party name and number
(CLID) in the FROM: address of the SIP trunk call, using the extension number
of the phone which originated the call. In cases where the SIP trunk service
provider does not accept arbitrary CLID, AastraLink allows a static CLID to be
provisioned instead; setting the "Username" field on the SIP trunk configuration
overrides the per-call CLID and uses this value for all outgoing calls placed to the
SIP trunk.
