Menu The menu has these main sections:

This section explains each of the functions on the printer menu.

Calibrate Printer For details on these options, see Chapter 4, Calibrating the
Printer.
Media Feed eliminates banding between print swaths
(“stitch banding”) by calibrating media advance. See
“Media Feed” on page 4-6 for instructions.
Manual Calibrations — allows you to calibrate the printer
visually, without the printer’s digital imaging sensor. Inaccu-
rate judgments by the operator during these tests could
result in substandard output. See “Manual Calibrations” on
page 4-8 for instructions.

Manual X Head Registration
Manual Jet Mapping — the manual version of AutoJet
Jet Status Lines — prints the Manual Jet Mapping pat-
tern without running the calibration
Default Registration Data
Auto Calibrations — see “Auto Calibrations” on page 4-20
for instructions.
Auto Bidi Calibration — ensures that every working jet
fires a pixel at precisely the same location, in both direc-
tions of travel
Auto H2H Calibration — aligns the printheads relative to
each other
AutoJet Calibration — locates and substitutes missing jets
for working jets
Full AutoSet — runs AutoJet and AutoBiDi in sequence
