BAIL CALIBRATION
In this procedure, the ‘up’ position of the bail assembly is calibrated. A value is stored in the
EEROM when the procedure is completed.
Perform the bail calibration whenever the:
Bail Calibration is accessible through the ªService Testsº menu. To perform the bail
calibration, do the following:
1. Press Enter at the ªStatusº display.
2. Use the arrow buttons to scroll to the ªUtilitiesº main menu. Press Enter.
3. Simultaneously press the Enter and the Up Arrow buttons to access the ªService
Testº submenu.
4. Scroll to the ªBail Calibº submenu. Press Enter.
5. The bail will raise.
6. Press the Up Arrow button. Each time the button is pressed, the bail will raise
up slightly.
7. Press the Up Arrow button until the bail makes a slight falling motion. This is the
correct ‘up’ position.
8. Press Enter to store the calibration value in EEROM.
