Remove the printer driver by using the Windows Add or Remove
Programs feature
If the printer driver was installed by the HP Driver Installation Utility (HP DIU), perform the following to
uninstall the driver:
NOTE: You do not need the printing-system software CD to use this uninstall method.
NOTE: To uninstall the software, you must log on with Administrator privileges.
1. Close all programs.
2. Complete one of the following steps.
Windows XP and Windows Server 2003: On the Start menu, click the Control
Panel item, and then double-click the Add/Remove programs item.
Windows Vista and Windows 7: On the Start menu, click the Control Panel item,
and then under the Programs menu click the Uninstall a program item.

3. Click Change or Remove Programs, select the component you want to remove, and then
click Change/Remove. The following components might appear in the list of programs:
