Grey Headline (continued)
The xConguration group of commands
are used to set and change individual items of
conguration. Each command is made up of
a main element followed by one or more sub-
elements.
The following pages list all the
xConguration commands currently
available on the VCS.
To set a particular item of conguration, type
the command as shown. The valid values for
each command are indicated in the angle
brackets following each command; these are
explained opposite.
To obtain information about the existing
conguration on the VCS:
type
xConguration to return all current
conguration settings for the VCS.
type
xConguration <element> to
return all current conguration for that
particular element and all its sub-elements.
type
xConguration <element>
<sub-element> to return all current
conguration for that group of sub-elements.
To obtain information about using each of the
xConguration commands:
type
xConguration ? to return a
list of all elements available under the
xConguration command.
type
xConguration <element> ? to
return all available sub-elements, along with
the valuespace and description, and default
values for each.
type
xConguration <element>
<sub-element> ? to return all available
sub-elements, along with the valuespace
and description, and default values for each.

command is a string. The
minimum and maximum
number of characters is
shown after the S.
When issuing this command,
the string must be typed in
double quotes.
