8. Insert the calibration page or cleaning page into the page feed.
Insert the calibration page in the direction of the arrows on the
page. Insert the long side of the cleaning page.
The scanner grabs the page and feeds it through the scanner.
The scanner will automatically pass the calibration page or cleaning
page back and forth several times.
Do not remove the page until calibration is finished.
9. When calibration or cleaning is complete, close the Device
Configuration Properties window, and remove the calibration
page or cleaning page and replace it in its plastic bag.
Note: Do not discard the cleaning page. You can use it several times.
If additional cleaning is necessary, add a few drops of Isopropyl
alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to the cleaning page and use it again.
Note: If the calibration page is not available you can use a piece of
blank white paper as a substitute. However, calibration will not be as
precise as with the regular calibration page.
