Removing the PowerEdge 1550 from a rack
There are two different but similar procedures that are performed for
different reasons. The PowerEdge 1550 is designed to provide access to
every field replaceable unit while the system is in the rack. The first
procedure, Extending the PowerEdge 1550 in the Rack, indicates how to
make the field replaceable units accessible for service. Occasionally, such
as migrating the system from one rack to another, the system may need to
be removed from the rack altogether. The second procedure shows how to
do this.
