Configuration Wizard: Provides a user-friendly interface for creation of
a logical drive.
Controller Selection: Lists the Dell RAID controllers in the system that
are compatible with the WebBIOS and allows changing current focus from
one controller to another.
Physical View/Logical View: Allows toggling between viewing the hard
disk drive resources on the controller through the logical device view or
the physical device view.
Adapter Properties
The Controller Properties screen displays the following data:
Firmware version of the controller.
BIOS version of the controller.
Quantity of memory on the controller.
It also allows configuration of the following:
Initiator ID: The ID of the controller. The ID can be any ID from 0 to 15
however, for general purposes the default of 7 should be maintained.
Rebuild Rate: The rebuild rate of the drives in the system. This is used to
determine how much of the controllers resources are devoted to rebuilding
a failed drive when replaced with a new drive.
