Removing the Power Supply
Follow this procedure to remove the power supply.
# Removing the Power Supply.
42. • Before removing the power supply you must remove the top cover
43. To remove the power supply, perform the following steps:
• Disconnect the power cable from the system board.
44. • If it is connected, disconnect the power cable from the backplane.
NOTE: There are several steps involved in disconnecting the power connector from the
backplane; they are enumerated in the procedure for removing the backplane.
45. • Loosen the thumbscrew and slide the power supply towards the front of the unit and remove
it from the system.
