his appendix describes the System Setup program, which is used to change
the system configuration information stored in NVRAM on the system board.
For in-depth information, refer to Chapter 4, “Using the System Setup
Program” in the
Dell PowerEdge 6350 Systems User’s Guide
.
To enter the System Setup program, follow these steps:
1. Turn on (or reboot) the system.
2. Press <F2> immediately after you see the message Press <F2> for
System Setup.
If you wait too long, the operating system begins to load into memory, the
message disappears, and you cannot enter the System Setup program.
Let the system complete the load operation
; then shut down the system and
try again.
