You use the four buttons in the bottom row of the control panel
to select printer settings and functions.
INITIALIZE/RESET
RESET-When
you hold down this button
until
RESET
appears on the display, the
printer finishes printing the current page
and then stops. The remaining data is
discarded, and some SelecType Level 1
settings return to their previously saved
values. See Chapter 4, “SelecType.”
When you hold down this button while
you turn on the printer, FACTORY RESET
appears on the display and all the
SelecType settings return to the factory
settings.
INITIALIZE-When
you hold down this
button until INITIALIZE appears (after
RESET), received print data clears and
SelecType Level 1 and 2 settings return to
the power-on settings.
COPY END
COPY
END-Cancels the remaining copies
when multiple-copy printing is selected
and the printer is off line.
CONTINUE
CONTINUE-If the CONTINUE light is
flashing, read the corresponding error or
status message on the display and correct
the problem as described in Chapter 3.
Then press this button to resume printing.
FEED
When the printer is off line and the
FEED
light is lit, press this button to print out
data in the printer’s memory.
