Using HP MaxiLife to Diagnose Problems
POST Phase
When the POST (Power-On Self Test) sequence is initiated, any error
messages that the BIOS may issue are displayed on the LCD. See Table
3-3. Note that if POST issues several error codes, the last error code
given will be the one that is visible on the LCD.
Operating System Boot Phase
If no error message has been issued by the BIOS at this phase, the
operating system will boot up and the message shown in Table 3-4 will be
displayed.
