Notes:
• Enabled means that the function is congured.
• Disabled means that the function is not congured.
The Advanced menu contains the following submenus. For more information, enter the corresponding
submenu and refer to the instructions on the screen.
• PCI Conguration: View and set PCI conguration parameters.
• ACPI Conguration: View and set ACPI conguration parameters.
• Processor Conguration: View information about the installed microprocessor(s) and set microprocessor
conguration parameters.
• Memory Conguration: View information about the installed memory modules and set memory
conguration parameters.
• Chipset Conguration: View and set chipset conguration parameters.
• SATA/SAS Conguration: View information about the installed SATA or SAS devices and set SATA or
SAS conguration parameters.
• USB Conguration: View and set USB conguration parameters, such as enabling or disabling USB
devices.
• Super IO Conguration: View and set serial port conguration parameters.
• Serial Port Console Redirection: View and set conguration parameters for the serial port console
redirection.
Security menu
You can set passwords and congure the TPM function on the Security menu in the Setup Utility program.
For each menu item, press Enter to show selectable options and select a desired option by using the up and
down arrow keys or type desired values from the keyboard. Some items are displayed on the menu only if
the server supports the corresponding features.

The Security menu contains the following items:
• Administrator Password: Set an administrator password to protect against unauthorized access to
your server. See “Using passwords” on page 49

• TPM/TCM: Congure the TPM function if your server has a TPM installed in the TPM connector on the
system board. See “Conguring the TPM function” on page 50.
Server Management menu
You can view system information and view or change event log and BMC settings on the Server
Management menu in the Setup Utility program. On each submenu, press Enter to view the information or
show selectable options and select a desired option by using the up and down arrow keys. Some items are
