Changing the
Date on Your
Mail
Advancing the Date
You can advance the mail submission date up to 30 days.
1. Press the
Date/Ad key.
2. Press the number for
Date.
3. Press the number for
Advance Date.
4. Use the numeric keys to type in the number of days you want to
advance the date.
NOTE: You cannot advance the mail submission date by more than 30
days. The system will display an error message if you try. Press CE/C to
clear the message.
5. Press Enter. The system displays the advance date and returns to the
Ready screen.
Resetting the Date and Time
1. Press the Date/Ad key.
2. Press the number for Date.
3. Press the number for Reset to Today's Date
.
4. Press
Enter. The system displays the current date and returns to the
ready screen.
NOTE: Pressing the Normal Preset key resets the date to today's date.
Selecting a custom preset does not affect the advance date. The system
automatically returns to today's date when it wakes from the sleep (low
energy) mode.
