Setting
the Scale
Location
Code
Use this option to enter your geographical location code.
You must enter this code so that your mailing system can calibrate
(zero scale) the attached scale correctly.
1. Press the
Options key, then Setup Menu, then Basic Settings.
2. Press the
Options key again then select Scale/Rates Setup .
3. Select
Location Code.
4. If there is no code entered, or if you need to change the existing one,
key in the new code supplied by Pitney Bowes.
6. Press
Enter to accept the new code.
Turning
AutoScale
On and Off
Turn the AutoScale feature on if you want your system to automatically
use the weight of the mail you place on the attached scale to calculate the
postage.
If the AutoScale feature is off, and you want to use the attached scale, you
need to select it by pressing the Class key and then entering the number
for Use Attached Scale.
1. Press the
Options key, then Setup Menu, then Basic Settings.
2. Press the
Options key again then select Scale/Rates Setup .
3. Select
AutoScale.
4. The display shows the status of the AutoScale feature, On or OFF.
5. To change the current setting, press
Enter and the display shows the
new status.
