Setting the
Default Refill
Amount
1. Press the Options key.
2. Select
Setup Menu, then Basic Settings.
3. Select
Refill Setup.
4. Select Default Refill Amount
.
5. Key in the postage refill amount you usually add. This is the normal
or “default” value. Do not enter a value more than $99,999.
6. Press
Enter. The display shows the value you entered.
Password
Protecting
the Adding
Postage
Process
If your system was set up to ask for a supervisor password you can also
have it request a password when you add postage:
1. Press the
Options key.
2. Select
Setup Menu, then Basic Settings.
3. Select
Refill Setup.
4. Select
Password Protect Refill.
5. Select
Enable Password Protect Refill.
If the refill operation is already password protected and you would like
to disable it, select Disable Password Protect Refill.
Removing
Funds and
Purging Ink
from Your
System
If you are moving your system and you need to transfer funds from your
control centre back to your Postage By Phone
®
account, follow the steps
here.
NOTE: Use this option only if a Postage By Phone
®
representative instructs you
to do so. Otherwise, it will not work.
1. Press the Options key.
2. Select
Setup Menu, then Advanced Functions.
3. Select
Remove Funds/Purge Ink.
4. Follow the prompts in the display.
