Configuring the Audible Alarms
User Customization
The operators and administrators can:
• Enable/Disable the Audible Alarm.
• Select whether to repeat the Audible Alarm.
• Define the number of repetitions and the interval between the repetitions.
To Customize the Audio Alert on the Collaboration Server Client or RMX Manager:
1 On the Collaboration Server menu, click Setup > Audible Alarms > User
Customization.
The User Customization window opens.
2 Define the following parameters:

Option Description
Enable Audible Alarm Select this check box to enable the Audible Alarm feature and to
define its properties.
When this check box is cleared, the Audible Alarm functionality is
disabled.
Repeat Audible Alarm Select this check box to play the Audible Alarm repeatedly. When
selected, it enables the definition of the number of repetitions and the
interval between repetitions.
When cleared, the Audible Alarm will not be repeated and will be
played only once.
Number of
Repetitions
Define the number of times the audible alarm will be played.
Default number of repetitions is 4.
Repetition interval in
seconds
Define the number of seconds that the system will wait before playing
the Audible Alarm again.
Default interval is 20 seconds.
