Exterior: Front View

Parallel Interface Port
Plug the parallel cable into this port.

Network Interface Port
Plug the network cable into this port.

Ventilator
These holes help to keep components in-
side the printer from overheating. Do not
lean anything against the printer, and do
not block the ventilator.
4.
Output Tray
Printed output is stacked here with the
print side face down.

Power Switch
Use this switch to turn the printer power
on and off.

Upper Right Cover
Open the upper right cover to remove the
misfed paper. Remove the upper right
cover for installing the optional inter-
change unit.

Operation Panel
Contains keys for printing operation and
a panel display that shows the printer
status.

Open this cover to replace consumables
or to see the instruction for removing
misfed paper.

Paper Tray
Load up to 500 sheets of plain paper
