Character Set 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Data Limits Eight digits. The EAN-8 symbol encodes two flag digits, five data
digits, and the check digit; eight total digits including the check
digit. The check digit is calculated by the printer. If more or less
than seven digits are sent, the sequence is printed as text rather
than as Barcode. Invalid characters are encoded as a solid black
character.
