Configuration page
The conÞguration page contains extensive information that is useful in
Ethernet installation and troubleshooting network problems.
There are two ways to generate the conÞguration page:
■ Use the printer’s rear panel switches.
1.
Make sure Switch 2, Switch 3, and Switch 4 are in the down
position (the default position).
2.
Set Switch 4 up.
The printer generates the conÞguration page as soon as you
set Switch 4 up.
3.
When the conÞguration page has printed out, reset Switch 4
to down.
■ Send a PostScript language file to the printer.
The Phaser 480X CD-ROM and diskettes include a PostScript Þle
for PCs (PRNTCNFG.PS) and a Macintosh utility (Configuration
Page) for printing the conÞguration page. For detailed
