About paper and transparencies
Handling paper and transparencies
■ Make sure that paper trays are free of dust. Dust and dirt in a
paper tray can be transferred to the paper, resulting in poor print
quality.
■ Handle paper and transparencies at the edges to avoid
Þngerprints. Fingerprints can result in a smudged print.
■ Store unused paper and transparencies in the original dust-free
package.
■ Handle transparencies with both hands to avoid creases, which
can result in poor print quality.
■ To avoid having paper or transparencies stick together, fan them
before loading into the paper tray.
