6. Pinch Roller, Platen, and Idler
Caution
Avoid touching the rollers with your fingers; oil from your
hands can contaminate the rollers and can cause printing
problems.
Use the lint-free cloth moistened with 90% isopropyl alcohol to
wipe the full length of these three rollers. Rotate each roller to clean
its entire surface.
a. Pinch roller
Ñ rotate with your hand (use a clean lint-free
cloth).
b. Platen
Ñ rotate by turning the green knob.
c. Idler
Ñ rotate with your hand (use a clean lint-free cloth).
