Overview
JOB ACCOUNTING is a SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION menu option.
Access to it is restricted to the system administrator and requires the
entry of the system administration password.
The JOB ACCOUNTING option allows Scanner and Printer usage to be
recorded in user defined account numbers. Usage is expressed as the
area (not the length) of the media scanned or used.
Job Accounting for the Scanner is controlled through the Scanner
Control Panel. For the WIDE FORMAT COPY SYSTEM 8825, 8830,

from either the Printer Control Panel or the Web-based Printer
Management Tool (PMT). For the WIDE FORMAT COPY SYSTEM
721P and X2 TECH, Job Accounting for the Printer can be set from the
Web PMT only.
The Web PMT consists of special Web pages located in the Controller.
They are accessible through either the Microsoft Internet Explorer or the
Netscape browsers. Version 4.0 or higher is required for proper results.
