C-16 Issue 2 November 1996
Register: S9

cause the Data Carrier Detect (DCD) circuit to turn on.
This prevents a ring or busy signal from being mistaken
as a carrier.
Range of Values: Value may be 000 through 255 tenths of a second;
factory-default value is six tenths of a second.
Storable: no
Comments: This feature is unnecessary in the DCP operating
environment of the 8400B Plus Data Module. The value
in S9 may be set or read but is always ignored.
