Connecting up computer with USB cables
By connecting the computer and projector together with an USB cable, it is possible to view
the contents of the memory card inserted in the projector from the computer.
Point
The computers that can be connected to the projector with a USB connection and used are
restricted to those that operate on the Windows 98, Me and 2000 platforms.
Install the USB driver into the computer to be used if the projector is to be connected to a
computer with a USB connection and a memory card used. The following differences exist
with the driver to be installed depending on the OS in use.
· Windows 98
Refer to #2 and subsequent procedures below to install the USB driver registered on the
EasyMP Software contained on the CD-ROM provided.
· Windows Me
Install either the USB driver provided as standard with the OS, or the USB driver regis-
tered on the EasyMP Software contained on the CD-ROM provided with the projector. If
the USB driver provided as standard with the OS has already been installed, it is not nec-
essary to install the USB driver provided with the projector. The USB cable can be con-
nected up and used without making any amendments.
· Windows 2000
Install the USB driver provided as standard with the OS. The USB driver provided with the
projector cannot be used.
Connections and installation of the USB driver

Connect the projector to the computer with a USB cable.

Installs the USB driver. Switch on the power supply to the projector, start up Windows
on the computer, and set the EasyMP software CD-ROM in place.
[Add New Hardware Wizard] will be displayed on the computer screen. The setup pro-
gram will be started up automatically.
Point
[Add New Hardware Wizard] will be displayed during procedure #1 if the USB cable is con-
nected with a bi-directional power supply.
