Transporting the Printer
If you need to transport the printer some distance, carefully repack
it in its original packing materials and box according to the
instructions below.
1.
Set the printer off line and then open the printer cover so the
print head is properly capped.
2.
Press MANUAL FEED to release the paper in the paper tray.
3.
Turn off the printer.
WARNING: Always set the printer off line and turn it off
before you unplug the power cord from the electrical
outlet.
4.
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and coil it.
Then disconnect the interface cable from the printer and the
computer.
