Configuring PSF/400 for IPDS on V3R2
To configure IPDS on AS/400 V3R2, use the following commands:
• CRTDEVPRT
• CRTPSFCFG

This section describes how to create a printer device description.
1. At the AS/400 command line, enter a command in the form:
CRTDEVPRT DEVD(P6400) DEVCLS(*RMT) TYPE(*IPDS)
MODEL(0) AFP(*YES) AFPATTACH(*APPC) FONT(11)
RMTLOCNAME(TCPIP) FORMFEED(*CONT) TEXT(‘IBM
6400 NETWORK PRINTER’)
