Link Group number (optional)—an integer that is assigned for each respective
link group
Links assigned the same number are part of the same link group. In the call
routing decision, the calls will not be routed over links that are in the same
link group. Not routing a call over links that are in the same link group helps
eliminate potential loops in the network. Assigning two ports within a switch
to the same link group causes the two ports to behave as a single physical link.
For example, no data that is received on a port within a link group will ever be
transmitted out another physical port that is a member of that same link group.
