Before operation, setup of this unit is required. Setup is per-
formed from WJ-SX650 Series Administrator Console
installed on a PC. (Some settings are available from SETUP
MENU of this unit.) The following is an example of setup
procedure.
Notes:
Setup may differ depending on system composition.
(Settings of Step 1 and 4 in the following procedure
must be performed.)
For Step 2, 3, 5 and 6 in the following setup procedure,
the factory default can be maintained.
Example: camera x 150, recorder x 10, monitor x 32, and
system controller x 2 (Terminal mode)
1. Perform the recorder settings.
Recorder Out: Input Board No.5 (When video input sig-
nals are supplied from recorders to CAM160 to 151)
Recorder 1 to 10: ON
Recorder 11 to 16: OFF
Note: Check if recorders are properly connected to the
DATA port and CAM (camera input channels) currently
displayed.

2. Perform the DATA port settings. (In this example, main-
tain the factory default.)
DATA 1, 2, 5 and 6 ports: TMNL
DATA 3, 4, 7 and 8 ports: HDR
Note: Change these parameters when using PS·Data
system controllers, etc.

3. Perform the LCN (Logical Camera Number) settings.
CAM001 to 160: If you change LCN settings, select
desired parameters.
CAM161 to 256: Delete the LCN parameters.
Notes:
Set LCN parameters for CAM151 to 160 surely, even
though these channels accept video input signals from
recorders. Without LCN settings, recorder selection is
unavailable.
By deleting the LCN parameters of unused camera
channels, operators can select only existing camera
numbers.

4. Perform the camera settings.
CAM001 to 150: Select desired parameters for these
cameras. (To use cameras of other manufacturers,
set DATA to OFF.) For Cable (cable compensation),
select the parameter suited to the cable length.
CAM151 to 160: Set DATA to OFF. (Video input signals
are supplied from recorders to these channels.)
