MPLS Configuration Traffic Engineering
To set up administrative groups, do the following:

Create the administrative groups with the
mpls create admin-group
command. Assign each
group a decimal value between 1-32. You must create identical group names and assign the same
value to each group on all routers in the MPLS domain. For example:

Assign one or more groups to an interface with the
mpls set interface
command. This
identifies the administrative groups to which the interface belongs. For example:

Specify administrative groups to be included or excluded from an LSP computation. To include or
exclude groups for an LSP, use the
mpls create label-switched-path
command. For

To include or exclude groups for a primary or secondary LSP path, use the
mpls set label-switched-path
command. For example:
An example of using administrative groups is shown in Section 17.7.2, "Constrained Shortest Path First."
Use the
mpls show admin-groups
command to see the administrative groups configured on an RS. For example:
mpls create admin-group sector1 group-value 1
mpls set interface RS1IN admin-group sector1
mpls create label-switched-path LSP1 include sector1
mpls set label-switched-path LSP1 primary PA include sector1
