Deploying installation packages
The following tables identify which installation packages you must install and the order they must be
installed in for each software installation option.
I MP OR TA N T
l Lync client software must be installed and configured on the computer that will host
SMARTMeetingPro software with the SMART Meeting Pro connector for Lync enabled,
before you install SMARTMeetingPro software.
The Lync client must be Lync 2010 full client (as opposed to Lync 2010 Attendee or Lync
Web App) with a connection to a Lync Server 2010 application.
l If you’re deploying SMART software to computers with Windows XP operating system, you
must install Windows installer 4.5, which is available from
support.microsoft.com/kb/942288.
l You must deploy all the installation packages identified for a software installation option.

Deploy the following installation packages in the order shown.
