bottommargin= pagelength- (topmargin+ textlength).
Thebottommarginis calledthe“perforationregion”withprintemthatuse
continuousforms.Younormallywantto skiptheperforationsbetweenthe
continuouspages,but sometimesyou don’t (for examplewhen you print
labels).
Thoughyoulikelywon’toftenwanttodo it, theStarLaserPrinter8willlet
youcompletelyignorethebottommargintoo.If youchooseto printbelow
thebottommargin,rememberthatyoumightlosewordsor graphicsin the
unprintableregionat theedgeof thepage.Thecommandlookslikethis:

If youwantto allowprintingbelowthebottommargin,for n enterO(zero).
Butif you wantto forbidprintingbelowthe margin,whichis thedefault,
enter 1(one).
In Laserjetmode, you can tell the printer whetheryou want to print in
simplexorduplexmode,andalsoto defineshort-or long-egeprinting.The
commandto do thisis:

ASCIInumberwhichmaybeeither’’O”,“l’’or’’2”.Ifnis“O”,simplexmode

modewillbeselectedforthenextpage—” 1“selectinglong-edgebinding,
and“2” selectingshort-edgebinding(regardlessofpageorientation).Any
othervalueswillbe ignored.
