When this feature is enabled, the printer provides warnings when the media or ribbon is
reaching near the end of the roll.

Early Warning
for Maintenance
When this feature is enabled, the printer provides warnings when the printhead needs to
be cleaned.
Accepted values:
MAINT. OFF, MAINT. ON

Printhead
Cleaning Interval
When Early Warning for Maintenance is enabled, set this value to the length of the
media or ribbon roll that you are using.
When the printhead reaches the set length,
WARNING CLEAN PRINTHEAD appears on
the control panel display. If the alert function is enabled, the printer generates an alert.
Accepted values:
0 M/0 FT to 450M/1476 FT in 50 M increments

Printhead Life
Expectancy
When Early Warning for Maintenance is enabled, set this value to the number of inches
of media that the printhead is expected to print.
When the printhead reaches the set length,
WARNING REPLACE HEAD appears on the
control panel display. If the alert function is enabled, the printer generates an alert.
Accepted values:
0 M/0 FT to 450M/1476 FT in 50 M increments
