1.The upper paper cassette
You can use letter and legal or A4 sizes of paper in the paper cassette.
The cassette can hold up to 500 sheets of paper (80 g/m
2
or 20 lbs).
• 110/120V model: letter or legal size paper set.
• 220/240V model: A4 size paper set.
2.The multi-purpose tray
The multi-purpose tray is the most useful feeder for you to handle
many types of paper. The multi-purpose tray can hold up to 150
sheets of paper (80 g/m
2
or 20 lbs) or up to 10 envelopes.
The paper types and sizes that can be fed from the multi-purpose tray
are as follows:
• Plain paper from 95 mm x 216 mm (3.75” x 8.5”) to 148 mm x
356 mm (5.8” x 14”) [Weight = 60 to 199 g/m
2
(16 to 53 lbs)]
• Overhead projector (OHP) films
• Colored paper
• Label stock
• Envelopes of COM10, Monarch, C5, DL, or ISO B5 size
3.The optional lower paper cassette (option)
The paper cassette expands the paper source capacity, The cassette
can hold up to 500 sheets of paper (80 g/m
2
20 lbs). You can use letter
and legal or A4.
4.The duplex unit
The duplex unit can handle letter, legal, A4, Executive and ISO B5
(except Tray 2) size papers from the feeders.

If you will be printing on paper of more than 135g/m
2
(36 lbs) weight
from the MP tray, please place the paper in the MP tray one sheet at a
time and print it by using the face up output.
