■ Serial Interface
When you intend to use the serial interface, be sure to select the same
communications parameters on both the printer and computer. You must
set them for the automatic interface selection, too.

Robust Xon ON: Sends Xon while waiting.
OFF: Sends Xon once, when the
printer status changes from
off-line to on-line.
■ Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface
If your computer has a USB interface, you can connect the printer and
computer with the USB interface. When using the USB interface, select
the interface on the display as follows;
