Registering your Distinctive Ring Pattern
If you are not sure which ring pattern you have, call your telephone
company. Then assign that pattern in the steps below.

Set the machine to MANUAL mode.

The screen displays the current setting of this feature.

Press or to select the SET Mode.

when the screen displays DISTINCTIVE:SET?

Press or to select the prestored ring pattern you want to assign and
press
Set
. (You will hear each pattern as you scroll through the four
patterns. Be sure to choose the pattern assigned by the Telephone
Company.)

Stop
to exit.
Once you’ve registered the Distinctive Ring pattern in your machine, you
can turn this feature on or off. To change the setting, follow Steps 1 to 5
above, selecting ON (or OFF).
